Serial numbers: 16926 & 146931. This Otto Bach was manufactured in the Zimmermann Factory in Leipzig, Germany. These pianos have a very good reputation of reliable quality.
This example has a walnut casing with a smooth lambent wax-like lustre and dignified tone variation showing as patina in the right places and highlighted by the sectioned veneer oval in in the top front panel. It is a beautiful piano with a lovely casing.
As one would expect from a piano manufactured in Germany, the tone is rich and strong. It has 88 keys – with a medium to lighter touch – and 2 pedals. The dimensions of this piano are height of 122 cm, width of 153 cm and depth of 66.5 cm.
