So often people are concerned about the age of the a piano, but one should revel in the craftmanship and traders’ effort to produce beautiful pianos of quality in the 1900’s. Pianos were an essential household element, and there was far greater competition between tradesmen. This Knight maintained its internal quality, but casing showed wear of use. It deserved to be given a fresh start. Thus, it was repolished to a satin white finish in October 2025. The following photographs show the piano as it looked before it was repolished.
