Serial number: 13882. This piano was manufactured in Liepzig, Germany, between the years of 1919-1929. It has a burr walnut casing with the most beautiful carved detailing in its front top panel frames. What a beauty!
The tone is wonderfully rich, mellow, deep and warm, something that can really only be expert on a pre-war, full size German upright. The piano has 85 keys – with a very consistent firmer medium touch weight – and 2 pedals. The dimensions are a height of 135 cm, a width of 154 cm and a depth of 65.5 cm.
The DE 347 Zimmermann Upright Pianoforte and stool was sold in September 2024.
