Serial number H2671210. This Model U3 is of Japanese manufacture. It has a high gloss black casing and stands approximately 130 cm tall. This is probably the rarest of Yamaha upright pianos and is the flagship in the upright range. Sold as “Special Order” pianos, they are very expensive and scarce. It has been many years since we were last able to stock one. This example was brought into South Africa by the previous owners, from Italy. It has a label stating that the piano was seen-to by the recognised Yamaha dealer in Italy. The condition is comparable to new.
