Serial number 780782. This Model P2 Yamaha was manufactured in Japan. The P2 model is one of our favourite Yamaha uprights. We do not know why they seem so particularly good, with such an amazing tone that they rival even the larger models. As mentioned with so many other Yamaha pianos, the earlier models have a richness lost on newer pianos.
Eshelby Pianos finished repolishing this piano to a high gloss black in May 2023. It has its original Yamaha stool. The appearance is sleek and fits well into modern life without being bulky.
The piano has 88 keys – with a medium to firm touch weight – and 2 pedals. The dimensions are a height of 116 cm, a width of 149.5 cm and a depth of 61 cm.
The DE 718 Yamaha Upright Pianoforte with stool was sold in May 2023.
