Serial number: D3083577. This Model M5J Yamaha was manufactured in Japan in approximately 1983. Yamahas made in Japan are incredibly sought after as well as scarce in the market. They are extremely saleable.
The original high gloss mahogany casing is stunning! This look has become a modern favourite with its clean lines and compact appearance. The M5J does come across as a more expensive, higher quality finish piano. The condition of the piano is excellent and shows exceptionally little, practically no use. This model is rare and the condition of this one highlights it as above average.
The tone is very even and rich, with the mellower sound earlier Yamahas are known for. The piano has 88 keys – with a medium firm silky touch weight – and 3 pedals. The middle pedal operates a celeste-felt rail. The dimensions are a height of 104 cm, a width of 148,5 cm and a depth of 54 cm.
