Serial number: R3832272. This Model M1J Yamaha upright piano was manufactured in Japan in the mid-1980’s.
This is a one previous owner piano and stool in the same house from when new until we purchased it. Its gloss mahogany casing is in near perfect condition. Beautiful, sleek and elegant, the piano could suit any more serious musician.
The tone is typically older Yamaha with the richness that is lost on the brighter modern Yamahas. The piano has 88 keys – with medium touch weight – and 3 pedals. The middle pedal operates a celeste-felt rail. Its dimensions are a height of 108 cm, a width of 148 cm and a depth of 54 cm.
