The tone is lively, with a very full sounding bass and good projection of sound. It is capable of being loud! The piano has 88 keys with a medium to heavier touch weight. It has an extremely even, silky feeling keyboard and response. Of the 3 pedals, the middle pedal is a practice pedal, which operates the celeste-felt rail.
