Serial number: 335648. This piano was manufactured in 1947, in America. Wurlitzer pianos are well known for their reliability and robust build quality – the make of piano that is associated with jazz musicians.
This is an unbelievably pretty piano! It has carved cabriole legs, the first we have seen on a Wurlitzer, as well as lovely details like the fretwork music desk and lyre detail on the bottom door panel. Finished in a high gloss mahogany casing, this style of piano remains ever popular. The low back makes for a very attractive and unobtrusive piece.
This piano has a brighter tone, 88 keys – with a medium to lighter touch – and 3 pedals, of which the middle one sustains the bass section only. The dimensions of this piano are a height of 94.5 cm, a width of 143 cm and a depth of 65 cm.
The DE 337 Wurlitzer Upright Pianoforte with stool is currently hired out.
