Thürmer is a well-respected piano manufacturing firm in Meissen, Germany. This is a proper German pre-war piano. The quality does not disappoint! The reason pianos of this period have such a huge reputation is obvious when one tries one.
That sublime, strong, rich tone with great depth is in truth only achieved by a piano of this height, build, quality and solid genuine timber construction. The whole piano is a soundboard! The casing is finished in a satin over a stained mahogany.
The naturals of the 85 keys retain their ivory and play with a medium to lighter weight touch. It has 2 pedals. The dimensions are a height of 128 cm, a width of 149 cm and a depth of 56 cm.
