Serial numbers: 23915; 23815. Manufactured in Dresden, Germany this is a magnificent piano with incredibly clean internals. This is an inexplicably clean and wonderful piano. In contrast, the black casing is worn, but not damaged. There is something special about a piece of furniture acquiring marks of use over the years; this can either be considered developing patina or a need for repolish. Special, as it was, the piano deserved revitalisation to match its internals and thus we painted it with a modern chalk paint finish. How brilliant does it look with its blue finish?
The piano has a wonderfully bright and clear, a crystal lively, tone. It has 85 keys, the naturals retain ivory, with a medium to lighter touch weight, and 2 pedals. The dimensions are a height of 131 cm, a width of 52 cm and a depth of 66.5 cm. Its height gives it great depth and projection.
