Serial number 714/8196. This piano is in a suburb condition! This is rather surprising as it was manufactured in around 1910 – it really does go to show how good care shows.
It has a wonderful burr-walnut casing, panel-etched detail, carved legs and good ivory keys. This piano has an over-damper action, which is often considered a disadvantage, but this one is so good that one cannot pick up on it being so.
The tone is warm and clear, with big-piano depth! The piano has 85 keys – with a medium to firm touch – and 2 pedals. The dimensions are a height of 127 cm, width of 146.5 and a depth of 67 cm.
The JAE 147 Sponnagel Upright Pianoforte with stool is currently hired out.
