Serial number: 234079. This piano was manufactured in Braunsweig, Germany. It has a walnut casing. We consider ourselves extremely fortunate to have been able to acquire this piano. Built in 1982, bought by the previous owner in Zurich, Switzerland, when new. Schimmel pianos were popular in this country, however their high cost meant that they were rare in the market.
Condition is as new, untouched and virtually unplayed. This sort of quality is very hard to find, the piano would serve any serious player well, they are to be found in many institutions world-wide.
The DE 643 Schimmel upright pianoforte and stool was sold many years ago.
