Serial number: 88581. This piano was manufactured in Holland between the years of 1964 and 1965. We find Rippen pianos to be of an exceptional quality, but they are not as expensive as other premier pianos and that is why they are far more accessibly priced and categorised in our intermediate range of pianos.
This piano was painted with a pure white topcoat on a light grey Cotswold shade of Harlequin’s Furniture Chalk Paint undercoat of chalk paint (June 2018). There is a reason why chalk paint is so popular: one can never get over the shade of the finish varies in relation to the intensity of light reflecting on it. As one can see in the photographs, the looks grey or beige in darker lighting.
The piano has a lively, brighter tone; 88 keys – with a medium to heavier touch – and 2 pedals. The dimensions of the piano are a height of 109 cm, a width of 144 cm and a depth of 56 cm.
The DE 511 Rippen Upright Pianoforte with stool is currently hired out.
