Serial number 75799. It was built in then Czechoslovakia in 1965. Petrof is an extremely old and we’ll established piano maker of great repute. We see very few in South Africa and they are always sought after. This one is something rather special, especially when looking at the linear veneering in its mahogany casing.
It has 88 keys; a medium, firmer touch; two pedals and a wonderfully rounded tone with a depth seldom heard on non-European made instruments.
