Serial number: 6456360. This Classic Model, South African manufactured Otto Bach was re-finished in Granny B’s chalk paint (January 2022). This gives a charcoal-blackboard type finish which is understated and very appealing. Its internals are in very good and original condition.
The tone is powerful and cheerful. It has 88 keys – with a medium weight touch – and 2 pedals. This piano’s dimensions are height of 110 cm, width of 143 cm and depth of 56 cm.

To the left is a photograph of the piano when we purchased it – how it looked before it was painted. Someone had decorated this piano with whimsical musical notes as the flight path of a butterfly.

It is so sad to have had to lose the creative flair. Unfortunately, as one can clearly see on the piano fall, the piano needed to be repolished or painted.
