This is an English piano of repute and one of the only pianos to have a double frame. They are well suited to the modern taste of a lively, almost “sparkly” tone. This really is a beautiful piano with a desirable casing – note the reflection of the keys.
Interestingly, this piano was only labelled Monington, not Monington and Weston.
The JAE 22 Monington and Weston upright pianoforte with stool was sold in 2015.
