Serial number: K80022. This piano was manufactured in London in the 1950’s. Kemble pianos are very popular in both looks and function. This Kemble model is known for their reliability and robustness.
It has a light walnut casing which was repolished in July 2016. One needs to stop for a moment to consider the craftmanship that goes into matching veneer. Here is a brilliant example of the impact of this effort! This is truly just a lovely piano: clean, neat and faultless.
With a singing tone of a nice balance of brightness but not harsh, it has 85 keys – with a medium to heavier touch – and 2 pedals. The dimensions of this piano are a height of 103 cm, a width of 134 cm and a depth of 55.5 cm.
The DE 251 Kemble Upright Pianoforte with stool is currently hired out.
