Serial number 741182. This Model KG-2C was built in Japan in 1974.
It is in completely original condition, having one owner since new and very little use showing at all.
The piano has a gloss black casing and its original stool. The photos are taken in our polishing room because it has a tiny indent on one cheek and the case will be machine-buffed.
Pianos like this are a constant favourite of serious pianists and compare very favourably with any similar piano of this class. It is suitable for use in institutions or private homes.
These earlier models have a great richness in their tone, something often lost on newer examples and compatriots in our opinion. The piano has 88 keys and 3 pedals.
The DE 959 K. Kawai Grand Pianoforte and stool was sold in January 2023.
