This is a wonderful piano! After selling the JAE 406 Gaveau in 2016, Eshelby Pianos painted this piano in the same befitting way, to match the place where it was manufactured: Paris, France. The case was suitably decorated with the typical French Provincial finish of white paint distressed to reveal the grey undercoat and then stencil-stamped to suit its origins (March 2017)! It is worth noting that it is a chalk finish and not a washed water-based finish.
This piano has remarkable tone with clarity and volume! It is a lively medium tone – cheerful without being too mellow or bright. It has 88 keys – with a medium to heavier touch – and 3 pedals. The dimensions are a height of 114 cm, a width of 144 cm and a depth of 53 cm.
