Serial number: 43773. Manufactured in Langlau, Germany, this Fritz Kuhla was built in around 1958. One of our favourite pianos, these all-German built models are of the highly quality. The sheer quality is unsurpassed. The casing style is a classic design which has remained popular through the decades.
With its styling, detailed legs and mouldings, in the original high gloss mahogany case, they remain an ever-popular model, a style much used during the build period and ever since. The difference between this piano and many similar styled ones, is quality through and through. The condition is original throughout, the internals show very little use, and the gloss casing is in good, but not perfect, condition. When it arrived it was what must be one of the most out of tune pianos we have come across, possibly explaining its virtually new looking interior, showing virtually no wear at all.
The tone is typically German: pure, full of richness and depth – neither bright nor dull. It has 88 keys – with a medium firmer touch weight – and 2 pedals. The dimensions are a height of 114.5 cm, a width of 147 cm and a depth of 59 cm.
The DE 682 Fritz Kuhla Upright Pianoforte with stool is currently hired out.
