This 1890’s upright is extremely tall with a very rare extra carved surround on top. It is finished with walnut and burr walnut, re-French polished.
This piano does have an over-damper action, but due to its sheer quality and amazing tone, it just had to be kept.
The DE 642 Ernst Wittig Upright Pianoforte and stool was sold many years ago.
