Serial number: 11022. This Dietmann was manufactured in South Africa. The Dietmann Factory built many of the pianos so well known in South Africa, they also manufactured Otto Bach pianos. But Dietmann appears to have been the higher quality version given its quality finish and higher attention to detail.
The piano is a very nice quality piano in a high gloss, dark stained, mahogany casing. It has a few very minor polish cracks, synonymous with the high gloss polyester finishes of the era, but these are hardly noticeable.
The piano has 88 keys and 2 pedals. The dimensions of this piano are a height of 115 cm, a width of 143 cm and a depth of 58 cm.
The DE 313 Dietmann Upright Pianoforte with stool is currently considered under restoration as it awaits a general service.
