Serial number: 308223. This piano was manufactured in London. It has a striking resemblance and similarity to the Kemble make, so much so that one would think that it was a Kemble rebranded Carlton. Ah, but there is an actual association. Renn Pianos, Temple Pianoforte Co., manufactured Carlton as well as other standard pianos. The company was purchased by Kemble in 1960.
The piano has curved details in its greater structure (identical to many other Kemble pianos) as well as in its the legs (unlike other Kemble pianos). Its walnut casing has a lovely, soft matted gloss finish.
