Manufactured in England, this is a very pretty, dainty style of piano with cabriole legs and small, neat proportions.
The piano is unique in that it has been artistically finished with distressed layers of grey, aqua green and white paint as well as having a stencilled bird image on the top flat panel. This was one of the first pianos Eshelby Pianos went a bit further than painting and then distressing for impact. The aqua green paint was the point of inspiration and it needed to shine through! In around 2015, a colour like this was not easily available.
This piano’s dimensions are a height of 110.5 cm, a width of 135.5 cm and a depth of 55 cm.
The JAE 408 Bell Upright Pianoforte and stool is currently hired out.
