Built in the 1920’s. Termed amongst others, “Dracula’s Piano”, this is one of apparently two such pianos built. In an ebony casing, with ornate brass work, this would have been for exhibition when built. In the Eshelby’s long history in the piano trade, such a piano has not been known before. This is – was – an opportunity to own something unique.
It really is a majestic and marvellous antique piano!
The dimensions of this piano are a height of 130.5 cm, a width of 150 cm and a depth of 73 cm.
The JAE 615 Arthur Allison Upright Piano with stool was sold in September 2016.
Eshelby Pianos owned this piano, sold it in the early 2000’s, were extremely fortunate to have been given the opportunity to purchase it back and then sold it again in September 2016.
