Serial number: 7366. This piano was manufactured in Germany in about 1925.
Originally, it had a black finish which required a repolish! The piano has been painted with Granny B’s Tropical Cocktail Chalk Paint (March 2023). Wow! What an improvement! Chalk paint adds this awesome shade variation in varying light that is great with modern, simple-looking pianos, but it is pianos like these with additional frame detail that suit the finish so well!
As one would expect from a German manufactured piano, the tone is rich and mellow. The piano has 85 keys – with a medium weight touch – and 2 pedals. The dimensions are a height of 133 cm, a width of 153 cm and a depth of 65,5 cm.
The JAE 459 Bogs & Voigt Upright Pianoforte and stool was sold in February 2024.
