This KG2 sized Kawai grand piano was relabelled Bernard Steiner to make it more marketable in the days when Eastern pianos were not as well recognised. The tables have turned: the Kawai brand is now tremendously popular because of its consistency in quality whereas Bernard Steiner is recognised as a label for a variety of makes of pianos.
This piano has a walnut casing and is a lovely instrument producing a warm tone. It is suitable for professional-standard use.
The DE 950 K. Kawai (rebranded Bernhard Steiner) grand piano and stool was sold in December 2016.
