Serial number: 11029. This piano was manufactured in South Africa, in the mid 1980’s. The Dietmann factory built many of South Africa’s now well-known brands of piano, like Otto Bach. These Dietmann pianos seem to be of a higher than usual quality to the other brands. This is a very good example which we purchased in original well cared for condition. We’ve done the usual major service on it but beyond that it really needed no work.
This is the ever-popular Queen Anne leg model, in quite an unusual walnut finish, most were mahogany. It has 88 keys, with a medium to heavier touch weight preferred by more serious players, and 2 pedals. The dimensions of this piano are a height of 103 cm, a width of 147 cm and a depth of 58 cm.
