Serial number: O690VC. This Model U121 Young Chang was rebranded Bernhard Steiner. Made in Korea in around the mid 1990’s.
These are one of our favourite pianos – especially this model in its taller stature. The quality of everything is superb. This is a strong, working piano. Extremely comparable to any piano in this class. Finished in gloss lightly stained mahogany.
The tone is crisp, but full of life and range with the depth of tone not many pianos achieve. It has 88 keys – with a medium touch weight – and 3 pedals. The middle pedal operates a celeste-felt rail, thus it is a practice pedal. The dimensions of this piano are a height of 121 cm, a width of 150.5 cm and a depth of 63.5 cm.
