Serial numbers: 48575 & 6228. This piano was manufactured in Germany, in 1919.
It has wonderful, elegant details such as scrolled legs and fluted pilasters, ivory keys and a burr walnut casing which is in lovely condition. Larger pianos can sometimes come across as bulky and quite boxy but this one certainly does not.
Thurmer is a well-respected firm of piano makers. One hears the quality!

The DE 296 Thürmer Upright Pianoforte with stool is currently awaiting a thorough service and is therefore considered under restoration.
