Serial number 84014. This piano was manufactured in London between the years of 1935 and 1939.
This John Brinsmead has an attractive structure with the soft, curved edging of the top flat panel into the front panel, a feature that we have found very popular. The piano also has two legs on each side, which is quite unusual. It has a striking walnut veneer. Unfortunately, the casing is just not up to scratch showing too much wear, so we will be re-polishing the piano as time allows.
It has a brighter tone, 85 keys – with a medium weight touch and beautiful ivory naturals – and 2 pedals. The dimensions are a height of 118 cm, a width of 139 cm and a depth of 59 cm.
The DE 267 John Brinsmead & Sons Upright Pianoforte and stool is currently awaiting re-polishing.
