Serial number: 97529. This Model 8 upright piano was built in Berlin, Germany, in 1910.
The piano has a re-polished Rosewood casing. The model 8 Bechstein has long been considered a Concert model upright, of unrivalled quality. They are one of our absolute favourite pianos and are extremely scarce.
This piano’s condition is excellent throughout. This is a collector’s piece, of a brand synonymous with quality piano building. Treat yourself!
The tone is an incredible balance of a full rich sound with the ability for brightness as well. The keys are original and superb ivory. The piano has 88 keys – with a medium to lighter touch – and 2 pedals. The dimensions of this piano are a height of 130 cm, a width of 156.5 cm and a depth of 63 cm.
