Serial number: 6557288. This Classic Model Otto Bach is proudly South African. It was manufactured in the Dietmann Factory in around the 1970’s. The piano is in excellent condition throughout.
The casing has been stained black and finished in Rubio Monocoat’s clear finish, giving it a no-finish, matt look with a matching stool (November 2017). The colour is almost black but varied: this is a unique case finish that shows like natural grain variation rather than a flat or brushstroke surface appearance.
It has an even lively tone (but not harsh), 88 keys, with a medium touch, and 2 pedals. The dimensions of this piano are a height of 110 cm, width of 143 cm and a depth of 56 cm.
