This is a quality, good-looking piano with a mahogany casing. These pianos were assembled in South Africa, as well as in the U.K. This Knight was manufactured by Bothners in South Africa.
Knight pianos are unusual in their “barless” frame-design, giving them a very full and unbroken tonal range. Also unusual is the fact that Knight pianos are one of the very few to be built largely out of solid timber.
This one has an unusual shape in structure. It is highly attractive with its developed patina and elegant form.
