Serial number: 6183554. This Model GC1 Yamaha was built in Japan in around 2014 according to the customer we purchased it from. The piano is in as close to new condition as is possible, barely played. Not a mark seen on the casing…
There is currently, nor for a while now, any new stock in South Africa of these Yamaha or equivalent pianos. The price is set to just keep soaring given the exchange rate. We have been told – by a reliable source – that if a new equivalent was available, it would be at around R 400 000.00.
The GC1 is not to be confused with the GB1 from Indonesia. This is a much more expensive piano and slightly larger. It’s simply going to be more and more difficult to replace stock like this!
