Serial number KJ2735927. This Model GB1 Yamaha grand piano was built in Indonesia. The GB1 is the “baby grand” of the Yamaha grand series.
According to the seller, this piano was purchased new in 2012. It was used as a decorator piece and received virtually no use. Judging by the condition we received it in this seems very plausible. This style of piano is extremely sought after and difficult to come by in our market.
Its size is undeniably suited to modern residences. Yamaha is highly rated all over the world and their quality is viewed as undisputable.
The tone is of typically modern Yamaha and one much loved in general. The piano has 88 keys – with a medium to firmer touch – and 3 pedals. The middle pedal operates the bass dampers and is not a sostenuto pedal as one might expect.
The DE 957 Yamaha Grand Pianoforte and stool was sold in February 2024.
