Manufactured in America, likely New York, this is a very good quality piano. Generally, American pianos have a very good reputation. Although you would hardly notice, it is interesting to know that this grand piano was originally a pianola, but the pianola mechanism has been removed.
This piano has a lightish mahogany casing. The piano is of quite large dimensions, with large, fluted gate leg design (double legs) giving it a very Victorian appearance and a masculine antique feel about it.
The DE 928 Steck Grand Pianoforte with matching stool is currently hired out.
